To market new condos, developers will often invite guests to all sorts of celebrations at their trophy properties. The idea is to lure potential buyers through the door with events like art exhibits, fashion-y soirees, and, as the New York Times recently reported, dinner parties, and then entice them into buying somewhere else in the building or—in the best case scenario—said trophy apartment.
It's not often we come across a listing at this price point with multiple bedrooms and outdoor space, so this listing piqued our interest. The writeup describes it as a three-bedroom, one-bath with a home office, but it looks more like a two-bedroom with a home office to us (that third bedroom appears rather small). And the small bedroom has built-in floor-to-ceiling wood shelving, giving it a true office vibe.
Located in a landmark building on Grove Street between Bleecker and Bedford, this $2,850 studio is just a block from the Christopher Street 1 train stop and near all the great restaurants and shops that make the West Village seriously desirable—and pricey.
