Dear Ms. Demeanor,
Our real estate broker seems like a decent guy and came highly recommended. I wish I could say the same for his breath. I am worried it will turn off potential buyers at the open house.
Help me with his halitosis!

Dear Breathless,
Dear Ms. Demeanor,
I have a long tale of woe about my 2-year-old's sleep, or lack of sleep I should say. A recent move to a bed after potty training has made my nights a living hell. He is up every hour screaming and running around the house. I bought a gate and he climbed over it. I put him back in Pull-Ups at night and he took them off and peed over everything at 4 am.
Dear Ms. Demeanor,
My roommate just brought home a rescue dog. It is kinda cute, pretty smelly, and has taken over our minuscule apartment (a one-bedroom converted to a 2).
I have told my roommate that I will not participate or contribute in any way towards the care of this dog. I also think my roommate should start paying more of the rent since she is effectively adding another being to her 'share' of the apartment, making my share (and kitchen cupboard space) smaller.
Dear Ms. Demeanor,
After a particularly long and brutal board meeting, a neighbor and I went out for drinks. Following too many ginger mojitos on my part, we went back to my apartment and did the deed. It was nice but not particularly memorable and I do not plan to do it/him again. He has been calling and texting. Help!

Dear Screwed,
Dear Ms. Demeanor,
Settle an argument for me - Do you tip a plumber?

Plumb Stumped
Dear Plumb,
Dear Ms. Demeanor,
My housekeeper has a daughter close in age to my stepdaughter (9 and 11 respectively). She has occasionally brought her daughter to work and the girls have met and exchanged phone numbers.
The other day, the housekeeper's daughter texted mine that she was in her closet trying on her new shoes. She has also played with some her art supplies without asking. My stepdaughter is starting to feel uncomfortable and upset. How do I handle the situation?
