Can't afford the $3.69 million to land the "doorman" apartment from Seinfeld—or just hankering for another replica-of-a-beloved-TV-set experience since the closing of that Central Perk pop-up? You're in luck: Hulu is creating a full replica of Jerry's apartment in the West Village in honor of the show's June 24th debut on the streaming service, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The "Seinfeld: The Apartment" pop-up will be located at 451 West 14th Street (a long way from Jerry's actual address on the Upper West Side), and will be open between June 24th and 28th, from 10 am to 7 pm each day. "Seinfeld is one of those rare shows that continues to influence pop culture to this day, so what better way to launch its streaming debut than to celebrate the fans and give them a chance to relive the scenes from some of the most iconic moments in TV history," a Hulu rep told the site.
Unclear if "reliving" scenes from the show means we get to eat all the cereal off the shelves (or if a Kramer-style bursting-in will be as effective after waiting in the inevitable long lines), but either way, exciting stuff.
