This $4,895 "two-bedroom" at 400 Chambers Street in Battery Park City is actually a one-bedroom with a home office, according to the floorplan, but the building, known as Tribeca Park, has all the trimmings.

Pros: The building is new, modern and pet-friendly. Apartments feature granite kitchen countertops and top appliances along with oak parquet flooring, carpeted bedrooms, marble bathrooms and customized closets. The building's got tons of amenities -- a landscaped BBQ dining terrace, sky-lit indoor pool, fitness center and a private landscaped sculpture garden. There's also around-the-clock concierge service and personal assistant services. The apartment has 1.5 baths.

Cons: As stated above, the apartment is a large one-bedroom with an office area. Even for a two-bedroom, $4,895 is on the pricier side, and for a one-bedroom it's a lot. The bedroom also looks small.
