Applications are open for 240 newly constructed apartments at 453 Hinsdale St., 500 Livonia Ave., and 487 Livonia Ave. in East New York, available via the city's housing lottery.
The apartments are studios, one, two, and three bedrooms set aside for people in multiple income brackets spanning $15,429-$72,600 for one to six people. Rents start at $395 a month for a studio. The units are for households earning from 30 percent to 60 percent of the area median income.

The smoke-free building’s listed amenities include an on-site resident super, card-operated laundry room, fitness room, bicycle storage, and an outdoor terrace.
Called the Livonia Apartments, the buildings are located at the corner of Livonia Avenue and Hinsdale Street, which is two blocks from the Livonia L train station and five blocks from the Junius Street 3 train station. Two parks are nearby, Livonia Park and Lion’s Pride Playground.
