This week, readers visited Brick Underground to check out houses for sale in the celebrity enclave of Bedford, New York. The Westchester County town is known for estate-like homes, but you can also find down-to-earth properties and they have larger, more private outdoor space than other suburbs.

Also of interest: Signed contracts in Manhattan jumped 28 percent in January, which is double from a year ago. Co-ops saw the most activity with 518 new contracts signed last month.
