Prime members can get serious discounts for 48 hours during Prime Day.

Amazon

Prime Day is here! The long-awaited, annual Amazon sale, where Prime subscribers get big discounts on popular products, starts today, October 13th, and runs through tomorrow.

This year’s event was delayed in the U.S. (it usually happens in July) due to Covid-19, according to The Verge. Now that the mega sale is closer to Black Friday, WireCutter recommends that you hold off on buying certain products like outdoor security cameras and stick vacuums because you’re likely to get a better deal then. But, there are other small appliances that you should snag now, like smart vacuums and air purifiers.

The easiest way to find deals is to look for the blue “Prime Day Deal” product badges and you can sign up for deal alerts if you have your eye on something specific. Also keep an eye out for lighting deals, which are limited-stock offers that are only available for a certain amount of time.
