5 vacation rentals in the Hamptons, where you can get a discount this summer
If you haven't locked in your Hamptons summer rental, you may be in luck because there's lots of places to choose from and some owners are offering discounts
Landlords are slashing rents for vacation places by as much as 30 percent because there are "hundreds" of listings on the market and demand is down, according to CNBC. It’s a far cry from what the area experienced during the last two summers, when demand was high for both long-term and summer rentals.
Of course it’s still the Hamptons, so even with these steep discounts, you’re still going to pay an eye-popping amount to rent a house here compared to other vacation spots. And while there are plenty of options still available for the season, you’ll need to be flexible with what town you stay in and which month you visit.
To help with your vacation rental search, here are five rentals in the Hamptons with availability this summer.
