The state capital of Oklahoma is Oklahoma City, a thriving metropolis in the heart of cowboy country. The city is growing, drawing young families and millennials thanks in part to revitalization projects like Bricktown, a former abandoned warehouse zone that's now the city's entertainment district, and it's home to museums, restaurants, retail, hotels, and the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
OKC's downtown area is also in the midst of a revitalization, with areas like Deep Deuce offering vibrant bars and music venues (including spots for jazz and the blues) that appeal to younger professionals.
