First up, we stumbled upon this two-bedroom cottage in East Hampton on VRBO, which, as of press time, is still available for Memorial Day weekend, Friday through Monday (the listing notes a minimum stay of three nights). The average nightly price is $485/night (though you'll need to confirm the price when you book), and unlike many vacation rentals that are still open at the 11th hour, this one has user reviews, and a five-star rating.
