This two-bedroom, two-bath condo in a 100-unit Upper East Side building is a block from Central Park and five blocks from the Met.

It's not new development—the building was built in the 1950s—but the apartment was recently renovated and has a glossy, contemporary look and a number of custom features. Plus, living in a building of this size also means there's a large staff and several common amenities. Naturally, all this adds up to a hefty price tag: The condo is currently listed for $2.995 million.

The open living and dining area (see main image) is illuminated by west-facing windows and recessed lighting, and features new wood floors in a herringbone pattern. The pass-through kitchen includes a breakfast bar, custom cabinetry, and high-end appliances, including a wine fridge.

The master bedroom has two walk-in closets and an en-suite bath with a large vanity. The second bedroom, configured as an office in the photos, includes custom built-in bookshelves and desk space.
