A very open bathroom makes this condo ideal for those who are comfortable with total exposure

THREE99, a brand new condo development on 8th Street in the East Village, is home to this three-bedroom penthouse, which comes with epic skyline views--and some unusual features. First, it's worth noting that the building is between Avenues C and D--rather far from the train--though for some, the amenities might make up for it.

And in addition to two spacious balconies, you'll find the glass walled bathroom pictured above. As the listing aptly notes, it's like nothing you've seen before. Listed for $4.9 million by Citi Habitats, the condo is made for those who want expansive vistas, and are comfortable with a little exhibitionism.

A private elevator takes you into the open living and dining area, a sunny space thanks to its multiple exposures. The large kitchen is primed for entertaining: it comes with a breakfast bar and top of the line appliances, including a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and wine fridge with room for 100 bottles. Off the living area, you'll find a massive terrace where you can take the party and fix your gaze downtown.

The floorplan reveals three bedrooms, each of which come with generous closet space and their own bathrooms. The master, located on the opposite side of the living room from the other two, has its own, large terrace facing Midtown. You'll find that oddball, en suite bath here, making this ideal for the couple that is very comfortable with each other--and, possibly, their neighbors. (We admit that the soaking tub with a view has appeal.)

The terrace off the living room is a big selling point: with the right furniture, this looks like a stellar sunbathing spot. Living here, you'll also have access to perks like a gym, billiards room, pet spa, and roof deck, as well as the services of a virtual doorman.
