This apartment is one of three in a building for sale in Astoria for (just) less than $2 million.

Exit Realty

One of our own just made the move from Astoria to Fort Greene, but that doesn't mean the perennially popular Queens neighborhood isn't worth a look. It has charm, some big museums, green spaces, and a healthy dose of family friendliness, as well as lower prices for comparable spaces in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Here are five places for sale in the neighborhood that are having open houses this weekend.

11-49 Welling Ct.

Reduced from an initial listing price back in November of $2,3999,000, this three-family building has three renovated two-bedroom, two bath apartments. The units include modern kitchens and bathrooms with creative tile work, raw wood accents, barn doors, Pella windows, claw foot tubs, surround sound, and alarm systems.

Listing price: $1,999,999
Open house: Saturday, Jan. 6th, 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 7th, 1-3 p.m.

23-11 21st Ave., #1K

Described as "massive", this one-bedroom condo has a walk-in closet and the opportunity to buy a parking space for $40,000. It also features stainless steel appliances, good natural light, and a washer/dryer. The building has a virtual doorman system and a gym. Common charges include internet, cable, and water.

Listing price: $655,000
Open house: Saturday, Jan. 6th, 2-3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 7th, noon-1 p.m.

21-58 35th St., #3B

This newly renovated two-bedroom, one bath condop in The Acropolis has hardwood floors, exposed brick, closet space, and a kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and an island. The apartment also features southern and northern exposures and two equal-sized queen bedrooms. The building is pet friendly, allows washing machines, and has security and a video intercom. Maintenance is $878 and no board approval is required to buy or rent out.

Listing price: $479,000
Open house: Sunday, Jan. 7th, noon-12:30 p.m.

25-42 22nd St.

It could use some updates, but this two-family has seen several price reductions over the past few months and according to the listing, has a "motivated seller." The building has five bedrooms in all, and tenants have access to the backyard and storage. The listing also claims there's development potential, with R5B/R6B Zoning.

Listing price: $1,199,000
Open house: Sunday, Jan. 7th, 1-3 p.m.

21-28 35th St., #4A

Also in the Acropolis, this renovated three-bedroom, one bath condop offers triple exposures, exposed brick, hardwood floors, a washer/dryer, and a sleek kitchen. The building allows subletting and pets (on approval), and it's one block from the N/Q lines. Other amenities include a common courtyard, a security guard, and a video intercom. Maintenance is $911 a month.

Listing price: $529,000
Open house: Sunday, Jan. 7th, 12:30-1 p.m.
