Bushwick took a bit of a hit from one of Brick's contributors this week, but it still gets plenty of love from many NYC property-hunters, especially those looking for a two-family for under $2 million that can help bring in some extra income from a rental. And this weekend, sellers there are hosting fair amount of open houses for interested buyers. Here, a selection:

279 Cornelia. Live in the owner's unit—a two-bedroom, one-bath duplex—and rent the four-bedroom with an office above (or vice versa) in this renovated two-unit townhouse. Asking price: $1.149 million. Open house: Sunday, November 15, 12 noon to 1 pm.

180 Weirfield Street. A full makeover has brought this two-family to life, leaving it with updated units with new kitchens and baths, central air and hardwood flooring. Asking price: $1.249 million. Open house: Saturday, November 14, 1 pm to 2 pm.

73 Harman Street. Yet another two-family on the market; this one's modern from top to bottom, and has a landscaped yard. Asking price: $1.375 million. Open house: Sunday, November 15, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
