If the idea of Brooklyn Heights conjures up images of charming apartments, this $2,800 studio located at 89 Hicks Street (between Orange and Pineapple!) shouldn't disappoint.

Among the pros: There's a separate, well renovated kitchen (complete with a built-in microwave, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer under the counter), plus a dining alcove well-suited for a small table.

These features may all explain why the apartment is more than $200 more than the median price for the neighborhood. But among the good news: At least there's no broker's fee.

I spy a washer/dryer in the bottom right corner!

Who wouldn't want to have their morning coffee by that window in the dining alcove?

The apartment is located on the fifth floor of a six-story elevator building. Note: According to the listing, it's not available until October 1. And there seem to be a bunch of other apartments in the building available, too. That may be because they were recently renovated, but we suggest you do your research before moving in just to be safe (and make sure there's no bait-and-switch situation going on).
