Housing lottery opens for 43 apartments at a new development in the Bronx
- New Yorkers who earn $107,246 to $198,250 are eligible to apply and rents start at $3,128 for a studio
- The 10-story building near Lehman College has a laundry room, community center, and package lockers
The building is one of two Bronx projects by the same developer.

Housing lottery applications are open for 43 rent-stabilized apartments at a new development in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx. New Yorkers who earn $107,246 to $198,250 are eligible to apply, depending on the size of the household. Rents start at $3,128 for a studio.
The building at 3001 Grand Concourse has a laundry room, community center, package lockers and a recreation room. It’s located near the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station with service to the B and D trains, and the Bedford Park Boulevard–Lehman College station, where you can catch the 4 train.
Developer Arben Mitaj filed permits for the 10-story property in 2020. It’s not his only project in the Bronx; Mitaj also constructed the 12-story building at 2072 Anthony Ave. in Tremont.
The apartments are set aside for New Yorkers earning 130 percent of the area median income (AMI)—a metric that depends on how many people you live with. Currently the AMI for New York City is $113,000 for a two-person household. The apartments available include studios as well as one- and two-bedroom apartments.
There are 27 one-bedroom apartments available for households earning from $114,686 to $165,230. The rent for these apartments is $3,345.
Applications must be submitted online or postmarked no later than April 3rd.
