Here are the NYC apartments for sale with the deepest price chops in November
Far fewer Manhattan sellers dropped their listing prices in November compared to previous months, according to a recent RealtyHop report.
The same neighborhoods topped the report's list once again: Turtle Bay-East Midtown saw the most cuts with 136 drops, a considerable decline from last month's 181. The Upper East Side-Carnegie Hill, last month's top neighborhood, also saw 136 drops in November, down from 203. The other top neighborhoods saw 100 to 117 cuts.
In its monthly price drop report, RealtyHop identifies neighborhoods with the highest total number of price cuts. It also highlights areas with the biggest percentage drop in median price, and the biggest median dollar price drop.
The listing with the biggest dollar price drop was a five-bedroom, six-bath condo in Hudson Yards with a $3,005,000, or 13 percent, cut to $19,995,000. A Battery Park City two-bedroom, two-bath condo had the biggest percentage price cut with a 28 percent, or $500,999, cut to $1,299,000.
