If you’re one of the many New Yorkers who bought a car during the pandemic, and need a new apartment, you may be looking for a building with onsite parking to avoid the headaches of street parking—which is harder now that so many spots have been taken over by outdoor dining.

Onsite parking is one of the amenities that you can often find in new rental developments, and where you may also be able to score a concession like a month or two of free rent. (Here’s a tip: Widen your search to look for sublets in co-op and condo buildings that offer parking.) Just remember that you might have to pay a monthly fee for a parking spot and some buildings have wait lists.

Another option: Check out parking apps like SpotHero that help you find weekly and monthly parking at nearby garages and even your neighbor’s place.

To help you with your search, Brick rounded up five rentals in Rego Park, Bushwick, Ridgewood, Union Square, and Roosevelt Island with onsite parking.
