5 NYC one bedrooms with home offices you can buy for less than $700,000
If you’re looking to buy a New York City apartment right now, space for a home office might be on your list of must-haves since most New York City office workers are still working remotely for the foreseeable future.
There are currently 670 one-bedroom apartments listed on StreetEasy across the city with some sort of home office space. Since these are NYC apartments—the home office could very well be a large foyer, alcove, small dining room, or second bedroom. (Tip: Type “home office” in the search field on StreetEasy to find listings because there isn’t a filter for it.)
Another workaround: Look for apartments with large closets or living areas large enough to section off a home office with a pressurized wall.
So, if you’re looking for a better workspace than your dining table or couch, here are five one-bedroom apartments with office space for less than $700,000 in Lenox Hill, Bushwick, Greenwich Village, Hudson Heights, and Jackson Heights.
