Surf Vets Place is a post-war rental complex, less than a block from the boardwalk, with 135 apartments over nine stories. Finished in 2018, the building has elevators, a bike room, courtyard, fitness center, laundry room, computer lounge, party rooms, and a rooftop terrace.

There's a lobby attendant on duty 24/7 and the building has an on-site resident manager. Transit options include the F, N, D, and Q trains as well as the B82 bus service.

If you’re interested and think you might qualify for one of these apartments, you can create a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect. For details on this particular lottery, click here. Don’t apply more than once, or you could be disqualified. The deadline for applications is March 13, 2019.
