One-bedroom condos in new developments for under $1 million with open houses this weekend
The 2018 second quarter market report from Douglas Elliman showed that Manhattan has hit the “reset” button as prices and sales continue to drop. In addition, the report showed the smallest market share of bidding wars since 2012. For new developments, the year-over-year median sales price dropped 19.2 percent.
In Brooklyn, Douglas Elliman's first-quarter report (second quarter is not available yet) showed that the condo median sales price declined 7.6 percent. Listing inventory and number of sales also dropped, as did the market share of bidding wars. The year-over-year median sales price for new developments decreased even more than in Manhattan, declining 33.2 percent.
This is good news for buyers looking for a newly built apartment. So if you are in the market, here are five one-bedroom, one-bath condos in new developments in Manhattan and Brooklyn with open houses this weekend.
