Applications are open for 255 apartments in a new, all "affordable" building in Tremont, the Bronx through the city housing lottery.
The apartments are studios and one, two, and three bedrooms at 4215 Park Ave., across the street from the Tremont Metro-North station. They are set aside for households in three income bands, spanning $30,069-$145,200, with rents starting at $822, for a studio.
The building is described as having security, a gym, a kids play area, rooftop "sun promenades," a computer lab, laundry, a courtyard, a lounge, and for additional fees, parking and bike storage.

The building is close to Richman Park, or Echo Park as it's colloquially known because of a sound effect created by rocks there, and close to Tremont Park. The B and D stop at the Tremont Avenue station four blocks away.
