5 NYC apartments and houses with parking possibilities that are having open houses this weekend
Earlier this week, we explored how to begin to figure out just how long an apartment building's parking waitlist really is. Parking is a hot commodity in the city, and it comes in all sorts of forms. It's in highest demand closest to the core of Manhattan, and wherever there are lots of tall buildings and few parking garages to go around.
For this week's Friday Crib Sheet, we're featuring five houses and apartments that come with parking, or the opportunity to buy or rent a spot. We can't vouch for the shortness of the co-op and condo garage waitlists you might encounter, so if your job or family life absolutely requires driving and you can stand to be a bit far from transit, the distant outer borough driveways and garages may be better bets.
