This Hamilton Heights apartment costs well below the borough median, but it comes with income restrictions for buyers. Corcoran

One of the latest market reports from Douglas Elliman reveals that the median Manhattan co-op price has shot up to a record-breaking $850,000. It's not the most encouraging news for buyers, but as it turns out, there are still options out there for those seeking a decent set of digs for under $1 million.

The following two-bedroom Manhattan co-ops are all hosting open houses this weekend, with asking prices starting at $595,000.

302 Convent St., Harlem: This two bedroom, one bath is an HDFC co-op, which means it's income-restricted. In this case, buyers must earn no more than 165 percent of the area median income, or $157,410 for a family of four. The apartment is in a prewar building, and was renovated six years ago. It features a large galley kitchen with plenty of storage, high ceilings, and multiple exposures. The building has a live-in super and is pet-friendly.

Asking price: $595,000

Open house: Sunday, October 15th, 12-1:30 p.m.

The bathroom has also been renovated and the bedrooms have ample closet space.

Asking price: $929,000
