Applications have opened for 10 affordable units at 1007 Atlantic Avenue, a new luxury development on the border of Clinton Hill and Prospect Heights. Per a listing on NYC Housing Connect, studios, one, and two-bedrooms are available to households earning 60 percent of the area median income. The property includes amenities like a landscaped roof deck with seating and grills, as well as bike and storage rooms, though these incur an additional fee. You'll also have your choice of subways if you live here: The C and S trains at Franklin Avenue are a block away, and the A train and Long Island Rail Road at Nostrand Avenue aren't far, either. You'll also be close to loads of nightlife and dining spots, like the Berg'n beer hall, and Prospect Park is about a mile away.

As per usual with the affordable housing lottery, preference for half the units goes to current residents of the neighborhood, which in this case falls under Brooklyn Community Board 2.
