Applications have opened for 19 affordable rentals in a new construction Chelsea building, per a new listing posted on NYC Housing Connect. The apartments are a mix of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms, with prices ranging between $833/month and $1,082/month for renters with annual household incomes between $30,446 and $57,240, depending on apartment and family size.

According to the listing, amenities will include a 24-hour attended lobby, bike storage, and a laundry room, as well as a fitness center, lounge, and roof deck that will be accessible for a fee.
As usual with this type of development, preference for half of the apartments will be given to current neighborhood residents, which in this case means residents of Manhattan's Community Board 5 (check here to see if you live within the boundaries). If you're interested and think you qualify, you can create a profile and apply online via NYC Housing Connect, or request a paper application by mailing a self-addressed envelope to Affordable Housing, Dept. 29, 1357 Broadway, Box 309, New York, NY 10018. (Don't send in multiple applications, or else you could wind up disqualified).
Applications are due by May 25th.
