Apply now for an East Williamsburg rental as cheap as $1,020/month
Applications have just opened for a handful of affordable rentals in 845 Grand, an otherwise high-priced new rental building in East Williamsburg, according to a new listing posted on NYC Housing Connect.
In a building where a market-rate one-bedroom goes for around $2,700/month, qualified winners of the lottery will get either a one-bedroom for $1,020/month, or a two-bedroom for $1,224/month. See below for the full list of apartment availabilities, prices, and income requirements (click to enlarge):
Building amenities include a rooftop terrace, backyard, indoor lounge, and "exercise/yoga room," as well as bike storage and laundry rooms. For an idea of the apartment interiors, you can take a look at photos from this market-rate listing in the building posted on StreetEasy:
As usual with this type of development, preference for half of the affordable units will be given to current neighborhood residents, which in this case means residents of Brooklyn's Community Board 1.
