Live in a still-under-construction Brooklyn building for less than $1,300 a month
Remember former Republican mayoral candidate John Catsimadis? The businessman, who owns Gristedes, as well as a real estate company called Red Apple Group, is behind this new, curvy glass tower which will stand at the border of Fort Greene and downtown Brooklyn once it's completed.
According to NYC Housing Connect, the building is currently receiving applications for all of its 29 affordable units, which range from an $833 a month studio (there are nine total) to a $1,245 three-bedroom, though there's only one of those. Prices and income requirements in the grid below.
The mixed-use building (meaning there'll be a commercial component) at 86 Fleet Place will have a gym, lounge, children's playroom, party room and roof deck.
