Bronx apartments starting at $788/month—for those who qualify
More opportunities to snag an affordably priced apartment in the city—this time in the Bronx's Crotona Park East: Applications have opened up for 72 apartments in High Hawk, a newly built rental building located at 1776 Boston Road near the 2 and 5 subway stops on 174th Street.
Per the listing posted on NYC Housing Connect, the available apartments are a mix of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms ranging from $788/month to $1,683/month for renters with annual household incomes between $28,355 (for a single person) and $105,100 (for a family of six); the rents depend on apartment and household size:
According to the listing, amenities in the building include an on-site resident manager, bike storage, a community room, and outdoor recreation area, and, for extra fees, parking and laundry.
As usual, half of these apartments will be set aside for current neighborhood residents, which in this case means those who live in the Bronx's Brooklyn's Community Board 3.
