Think you can’t find a big enough home for $580,000? Think again. If you’ve got a big family (or just like a lot of space) Brooklyn has two- and four-bedroom houses, and Queens and Staten Island have three-bedroom houses to choose from. Unsurprisingly, Manhattan is the place to turn to for one-bedrooms and studios if you’re single or coupled.

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, MANHATTAN: A one-bedroom, one-bath prewar co-op with a renovated kitchen and high, beamed ceilings in a doorman building with a live-in super at 600 West 111th Street (between Broadway and Riverside Drive). $579,000 plus $1,059/month maintenance

GREENWICH VILLAGE, MANHATTAN: A renovated one-bath studio co-op with built-in cabinets in a doorman building that permits pied-a-terre, but not pets at 211 Thompson Street (between West Third and Bleecker). $583,000 plus $932/month maintenance

YORKVILLE, MANHATTAN: A one-bedroom, one-bath co-op with a dishwasher and available storage in an elevator building that doesn’t allow pets and has laundry onsite at 515 East 85th Street (between York and East end Avenue). $578,000 plus $1,585/month maintenance

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, BROOKLYN: A renovated one-bedroom, one-bath co-op with a dishwasher and two closets in the bedroom in an elevator building with a fitness center and package room, as well as a dog run at 215 Adams Street (between Sands and Tillary). $589,000 plus $906/month maintenance

CANARSIE, BROOKLYN: A four-bedroom, three-bath multi-family townhouse with skylights, a washer/dryer, a backyard with a deck and a finished basement at 9806 Glenwood Road (between East 98th and East 99th).

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN: A two-bedroom, one-bath condo with a windowed kitchen and a private rooftop cabana in a pet-friendly elevator building at 358 Grove Street (between Wyckoff and Irving). $588,000 plus $416/month common charges, $39/month taxes

ROCKAWAY PARK, QUEENS: A three-bedroom, two-bath duplex condo with a terrace in the Ocean Walk Condominium II at 186 Beach 125th Street (at Rockaway Beach Boulevard). $579,000 plus $283/month common charges, $228/month taxes

BELLEROSE, QUEENS:  An updated three-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath colonial house with a backyard, a picture window, crown molding, a new roof and updated electric at 241-11 88th Avenue (between 241st and 242nd). $579,000 plus $4,343/month taxes

NEW SPRINGVILLE, STATEN ISLAND: A three-bedroom, one-plus-bath colonial house with custom window treatments and a custom vanity in the master bath, which also features a jacuzzi at 11 Purdue Street (between Nome and Richmond Hill). $578,900
