Need extra closet space? To the rescue, this Minimalist clothes rail
Has any New Yorker ever complained about having too big a closet? We think not, which is why the Untitled Rail makes so much sense.
The creation of Marc Schulthess—a product designer who splits time between London, Paris and Berlin, frequently finding himself in space-starved flats—the minimalist, leaning clothes rack promises to add instant hanging storage to virtually any bare wall without compromising on style.
Made of strong, 2mm-thick carbon steel and finished with a powder coating paint, the Untitled Rail comes in four pieces (for convenient and inexpensive shipping and storing) that to fit together with an Allen key, according to its creator. Two sizes of the finished design (32” and 15” wide) will be available in two colors: black and blue.
With seven days to go in its Kickstarter campaign, Untitled Rail is 82 percent funded, which means there’s still time for you to support the project. A pledge of £199 (about $320) will score you your own Untitled Rail in your choice of size and color. A pledge of £250 (about $402) will get you a custom Rail in your choice of one of 200 colors—and there are a bunch of other, less pricey rewards to select from as well.
