Murray Hill two-bedrooms for $1,100 a month? Yes!

The hunt for a reasonably priced rental in Manhattan just got a little easier: applications are now open for affordable apartments at the Frontier building in Murray Hill, according to NYC Housing Connect, with two-bedrooms going for as little as $1,101 a month.

The new building at 200 East 39th Street and Third Avenue is named after the Frontier Diner, according to Curbed, which occupied that corner until it burned down in 2010. The 19-story building will have 91 apartments, shops on the ground level, and perks like a 24-hour doorman, a roof deck lounge, in-building laundry, and for an extra fee, a fitness center and bike storage. (It would seem that affordable tenants will have equal access to all the building's amenities—we've reached out to the developer, and will update if we hear back with more details.)

According to the building's fact sheet (which can be found here), there are five studios available at $847 a month for tenants with an annual income between $30,720 and $35,280; 11 one-bedrooms at $909 a month for tenants earning between $32,880 and $40,320, depending on family size; and three two-bedrooms for $1,101 a month for those making between $39,532 and $50,340, also depending on family size. Applications are due by March 16, and per usual, 50 percent of the units will be set aside for current residents of Community District 6, which includes Beekman Place, Gramercy Park, Murray Hill, Stuy Town, Sutton Place, Tudor City, and Turtle Bay.
