The StreetEasy Hot Dozen: 12 rentals that may or may not be available by the time you read this
Three-bedroom apartments are perfect for saving money with multiple roommates, or for growing families, or for those with larger wallets who want some extra room. The triple-bedroom apartments featured below were at the top of this week's Hot Dozen--the 12 rental apartments Streeteasy.com visitors clicked on most often over the past seven days.
An admittedly luxurious three-bedroom, three-bath condo at the Chelsea Modern (447 West 18th Street and 10th Ave) is listed at an eye-popping $14,400/month. The nearly 2,000-square-foot apartment boasts a balcony from which its tenants can see the High Line, and the apartment offers a custom-built kitchen with a walk-in pantry.
Up on the Upper West Side, a three-bedroom apartment in a full-service co-op at 251 Central Park West and West 85th Street (which also made last week's Hot Dozen) is listed at $11,500. More traditional than the previous deluxe apartment, the large pad is convertible into four bedrooms and is across the street from Central Park. There's a washer-dryer hookup but no dogs are allowed and you'll have to be approved by the board.
Down in Chelsea is a much more modestly priced three-bedroom apartment at 819 Sixth Avenue and 28th Street listed at $3,650/month, offering a great potential for students and young professionals to share a space and save a buck. The centralized location, not far from Penn Station, leaves entertainment, restaurant, shopping, and transportation options wide open.

If the apartment you like requires a guarantor that you don't have, see if the landlord accepts Insurent, a great solution from one of BrickUnderground's sponsors.
