No-Fee Apartment of the Week: FiDi one-bedroom for $2,850
This $2,850 one-bedroom is located at 200 Water Street, a former NYU dorm that was originally built as an office building by Emery Roth, and is now a luxury rental building. The apartment has northwestern exposure.
The large building is known for the iconic digital clock on its facade.
There are several other one-to-two-bedroom rentals available in the building as well.
Pros: Until January 31, the building is offering a $500 credit in addition to no broker fee (prospective tenants must come without a broker). It’s a doorman building with an elevator, gym, and roof-deck, and it’s pet-friendly, too. It’s also only two blocks from the Fulton Street Transit hub.
Cons: Some people may not be crazy about the neighborhood. It’s across from South Street Seaport— a veritable tourist trap, and the neighborhood is super busy during the week and quiet on the weekends (though that may be a plus for some).
No Fee Apartment of the Week showcases an apartment that’s currently on the market and is being offered with no broker fee
(otherwise known as the holy grail of New York City rentals). For tips
