Low-Fee Rental of the Week (new!): $2,850 high rise alcove studio in Kips Bay
What’s the next best thing to a no-fee rental? A low-fee rental, of course.
Starting today, we're bringing you one apartment a week on which the rental agent (a vetted member of BrickUnderground’s referral network) has agreed to slash his or her standard 15%-of-a-year-’s-rent fee to one month’s rent.
First up: An amply-proportioned $2,850/month alcove studio in the East 20s near Second Avenue. The 730-square-foot apartment is on the 17th floor with a wall of windows at one end, plus lots of custom closets, an entry foyer, hardwood floors and additional storage cabinets throughout the apartment.
Building amenities include a 24-hour-doorman, concierge, valet, porters, onsite laundry, four elevators, an attached parking garage (with extremely reasonable-for-Manhattan rates of $285 per month) and a brand new roofdeck. Another fun feature? A computerized package alert system that sends tenants an instant message when they receive packages.
Note: The rental is in a co-op building, so co-op board approval is required. (See Serial Renter: Tips for Renting a Non-Rental for the lowdown on renting in a co-op.)
For more information and to be eligible to pay a reduced broker fee of one-month's rent (that's just $2,850, versus $5,130 for a standard 15% broker's fee), fill out our referral service contact form and mention this offer in the "other info" section.
