If you’re looking for a corner apartment so you’ll have more light, space, privacy and views of all manner of weather emergencies, you’re apparently not alone. This week’s edition of StreetEasy’s Most Wanted -- the top 10 apartments StreetEasy users saved more often than any others this week -- has a few corner-unit opportunities in postwar buildings around Manhattan.

Take the corner two-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op pictured here. Listed at $1.15m, it's located on East 74th Street and Third Avenue and is on a high floor. There’s a separate dining alcove with a bay window that faces east and the kitchen also has a window with open city views. It needs some updating, and there's an assessment of $136.42 a month. And if you like dogs, you’ll have to settle for a small one that’s no taller than 18 inches.

A $1.375m two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo in a postwar building on Central Park West between 97th and 100th Street on the Upper West Side has a balcony overlooking Central Park. The 1,140-square-foot 4th floor corner unit can be converted into a three-bedroom. The southern and eastern exposures provide lots of sunshine. As for the building, it offers low monthlies (common charges $695 and monthly taxes $335), a fulltime doorman, a live-in super, outdoor gardens, on-site parking and a health club.

A newly renovated corner two-bedroom, two-bathroom co-op on West 12th Street and Sixth Avenue is on the market for $1.499m. It has views to the east and north and the building has a 24-hour doorman, live-in super and a roof deck. Pets are welcome. The full-service building is steps from six subway lines and the PATH train.

Located on the corner of East 56th and Lexington is a $1.15m two-bedroom two-bath corner unit condo that’s over 1,200 square feet. An alcove can be converted into a third bedroom, and the apartment has a triple exposure with eastern, western and northern street views. It’s steps from Central Park and Grand Central.
