With much of the city topsy-turvy and in a state of disrepair, move-in-ready apartments may have a heightened appeal to many New York apartment-hunters. As it happens, this roundup of StreetEasy’s Most Wanted -- the 10 apartments StreetEasyusers saved more often than any others this week -- features a selection of renovated apartments that are practically suitcase-ready.

On Norfolk Street (between Stanton and East Houston Streets) on the Lower East Side is a renovated one-bedroom, one-bath co-op on the market for $480k. The dining area of this pet-friendly second-floor walk-up has space for a six-person table, and the apartment has five east-facing windows that overlook a common courtyard. Storage is available in the form of custom built-ins in the bedroom and entryway. And according to ConEd, the power will be back soon.

You’ll find another renovated co-op for sale on West 79th and Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side. The $799k two-bedroom, one-bath co-op in a postwar doorman building has been fully renovated, including the kitchen and marble bathroom. Storage is no problem with six custom closets (one walk-in and two double-sized). The northern exposure offers open city views. The pet-friendly building itself has also been updated, with a renovated lobby and hallways, plus there’s a planted and lit roof deck. You can work from home in the custom-built office area.

In SoHo, on Crosby and Broome Streets, a renovated fourth-floor $1.475m two-bedroom, one-bath loft co-op has a wall of four large wood-framed windows in the living room and two windows overlooking Crosby Street. The ceilings reach 11.5’ and an industrial-sized manual freight elevator opens into the apartment, which also includes a walk-in pantry/storage room. Besides the elevator, there’s also access to the stairway leading to the Broome Street building entrance. A washer/dryer and central a/c are other perks.
