This newly renovated one-bedroom coop is located on the top floor of 311 East 75th Street, a 64-unit elevator building located between First and Second Avenues. Most apartments appear to be studios and one-bedrooms, making this a potentially desirable option for the child-averse. The recent makeover included apartment rewiring, and the kitchen has been outfitted with higher-end appliances. There are three California-style closets. refinished hardwood floors, crown molding, and good light. The building does not have a doorman, but does have a live-in super. Puff is welcome here, but Spot is not.

Originally listed at $515,000 in November of 2010, #6K had its second price reduction today, to $439,000, a decent deal in this area for a renovated one-bedroom in an elevator building. The subway is about a five minute walk, and the Second Avenue bus is very close.

BrickPicks is A. Ready's weekly independent selection of an apartment that she believes reflects good value given current market conditions. It is not an advertisement for the property.
